Gotta Track 'Em All ("we", "our", or "the app") is a Pokemon TCG collection tracker. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Data Stored on Your Device

Your card collection data is stored locally on your device using Hive (a local database). This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable Cloud Sync.

  • Card ownership and quantities
  • App preferences and settings
  • GDPR consent status (if applicable)

Account Data (Optional)

If you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address — used for authentication only
  • User ID — a unique identifier generated by Firebase Auth

We do not collect your name, phone number, or physical address.

Subscription Data

If you subscribe to Pro, the following data is processed by our payment processor (RevenueCat):

  • Purchase history and subscription status
  • App User ID (linked to your account)
  • Transaction receipts from Apple App Store or Google Play

RevenueCat does not have access to your payment card details. All billing is handled by Apple or Google.

Analytics

We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app:

  • Feature usage (e.g., which screens you visit)
  • Subscription events (purchase, restore, cancel)
  • Error events for debugging

Analytics data is collected via Firebase Analytics and cannot be used to identify you personally.

How We Use Your Data

  • Authentication: To sign you in and sync your collection across devices
  • Subscription management: To verify your Pro status and manage entitlements
  • App improvement: Anonymous analytics help us understand which features to improve
  • Support: Your email may be used to respond to support requests you initiate

Your Rights

For All Users

  • Export your data: Settings > Privacy & Data > Export My Data
  • Delete your data: Settings > Privacy & Data > Delete My Data (removes all local data and disassociates your device from our payment processor)
  • Delete your account: Settings > Delete Account (removes your authentication account)

Additional Rights for EU/EEA/UK Users (GDPR)

  • Consent: We ask for your consent before processing subscription-related data
  • Withdraw consent: You can revoke consent at any time in Settings > Privacy & Data. This will disconnect your device from our payment processor. Your Apple/Google subscription is not affected.
  • Data portability: Use the Export feature to get a JSON copy of your data
  • Right to erasure: Use Delete My Data to remove your data from this device

Data Retention

  • Local data: Stored on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app
  • Firebase Auth: Account data is retained until you delete your account
  • RevenueCat: Purchase history is retained per their privacy policy. You can request deletion by contacting us
  • Analytics: Aggregated analytics data is retained for up to 14 months

Children's Privacy

This app is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

Hosting & Server Logs

This website is hosted on Firebase Hosting. As with any web server, Firebase Hosting automatically collects standard access logs, which may include:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and timestamps
  • Referring URL

These logs are managed by Google as part of the Firebase Hosting service and are subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

Fonts

All fonts used on this website are self-hosted. No requests are made to third-party font CDNs (such as Google Fonts), so no additional data is shared with external services when loading fonts.

Analytics

This website does not currently use any analytics or tracking tools. If analytics are added in the future, this section will be updated accordingly.
